On Thursday evening March 9, at 7 pm, the Allentown Garden Club will host Lisa Bux of Solebury, Pa. to explore attracting birds to the garden. The program will be held at the Allentown Methodist Church on Church St. (next to LaPiazza). Ms. Bux is a professional landscaper and teacher, and has lectured at the Philadelphia Flower Show, the Chicago Botanical Gardens and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Her experience in constructing and restoring gardens in her 19th century farmhouse in Pennsylvania spurred her interest in neglected and damaged plants and all aspects of home gardening. The public is cordially invited to attend.
